This week’s Friday Five is coming at you from my Brooklyn hotel room. I’m here for client meetings this morning before taking the Acela back to D.C. This week I’m adding a new category—in celebration of my finally announcing our engagement (a month later!)—Wedding Faves/Finds!
Wedding: Solid Advice from a Great Friend
Ok, so this one isn’t something you can add to cart and purchase, but this wedding stuff is a little overwhelming. And Rob and I have slightly different ideas about what we’d like the wedding to be. And my friend Jenn Matilla has repeatedly provided me with the most sound advice about how to talk about things, how to sift through options and ideas and figure out what’s the most important to us. Plus, she has INCREDIBLE style and has helped me organize my pinterest board and contributed to it, too. Thank you, Jenn!

Style: The Sidestroke by Summersalt
I’m thinking The Sidestroke by Summersalt will be perfect for my bachelorette weekend—which I’m hoping involves renting a house in Palm Springs to hang with my friends.
Beauty: Grace & Stella Gold Eye Masks
At Jenn’s New Orlean’s bachelorette party, our weekend gift bags had these awesome gold eye masks. I found these at Grace & Stella and love wearing one in the morning between my shower and putting on my makeup for a little moisturizing treatment and pick-me-up around the eyes.
Blogger Jess Keys is a genius and created this downloadable cookbook filled with quick, easy recipes that you can make with her go-to Trader Joe’s items (which, in reality is most of my go-to’s and most likely yours too.)
