I bought this the weekend before Christmas when Rob and were out getting the last of our Christmas gifts for family. The entire Madewell store was 30% off (including cashmere and denim) and I grabbed this sweater because I just loved the color. I WISH I had picked up a few more colors during that sale because it is SO soft, so warm and I love the drape and shape when I’m wearing it.
I stumbled on this while I was in an Instagram zone one day this week and immediately ordered it on Amazon. Serena Wolf (who I’ve decided I really dig) recreates favorite comfort food favorites using nutrient-dense whole foods. Any cookbook that can help me make things like lasagna and cocktails better for me (and Rob)—er, healthier anyways—should definitely be in my kitchen.
Rob and I stayed at our friends Jenn and Spencer’s place while we were in Chicago for Christmas while they were in California and I noticed this on Jenn’s nightstand. I keep meaning to order some to give it a try. I love a soothing calming lavendar and chamomile situation – especially to help me sleep. I kept meaning to order some to give it a try and found it on sale at ulta today!
Live: Batshit Advice
My friend (and coworker/former boss if we’re talking semantics) Ali Kehoe just launched an advice column/blog of sorts and it’s so good and just like her: equal parts solid, sound advice and humor. She’s quick-witted and hilarious and always makes me laugh. Read it, email her a question, sign up for the emails – all of the things!
Travel: The Bordeaux Concierge
Two of my dearest friends Tim and Martin officially launched their new venture: The Bordeaux Concierge. As in, your personal travel concierge in Bordeaux, France. 🙌 Seriously, these two LIVE the good life, they are quite posh, know good food, how to craft an amazing experience, and 🍷. They are also incredibly hard-working, an absolute joy to be around, and I couldn’t think of anyone else I’d rather explore France or anywhere in Europe with. Visit their site, follow them on IG and FB while you’re at it, too.
